About Absolute Radio 10s live
Technical details, frequency and station information
Absolute Radio 10s is Bauer's station for the music of 2010 to 2019, the most recent member of the Absolute Radio family of decade stations. Like its sister stations it plays rock and pop together, and its playlist is built on the guitar-led and crossover hits that defined the decade.
It launched at 10am on 18 November 2019, as the sixth decade station in the Absolute Radio line-up — after the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s. Unlike the others, it started life online only.
It has since moved onto the dial. Absolute Radio 10s joined DAB+ in London on 26 April 2021 and expanded onto more local DAB multiplexes in the autumn of 2024.
The 2010s are a curious decade for a nostalgia station, because for many listeners they still feel recent. But they were also the decade in which streaming overtook downloads and radio lost its monopoly on new music, which makes a station that gathers the era's hits in one place more useful than it might first appear.
The station runs as a continuous playlist. It is on DAB+ in London and several other areas, in the Rayo app and online, and on the stream on this page.
