Classic FM Movies live

Classic FM Movies is Classic FM's round-the-clock station for film music: the scores and soundtracks that have become some of the best-loved orchestral music of the last century, from the golden age of Hollywood to today's blockbusters. It launched on 12 September 2024 together with Classic FM Calm, the first two sister stations in Classic FM's 32-year history. They were part of the twelve new stations Global switched on that day, alongside new services for Heart, Smooth, Capital and Radio X. Film music has long been one of Classic FM's strongest suits, and for many listeners a score is the way into orchestral music. Classic FM Movies takes that one strand and plays it without interruption: themes, suites and cues from film and television, with no presenters and no specialist programming in between. For a presented programme, the main Classic FM station carries Classic FM at the Movies with Jonathan Ross, two hours of film music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Classic FM Movies is on DAB+ in the Greater London area and everywhere else on Global Player, the official Classic FM app, as well as on smart speakers, Sonos, smart TVs and the stream on this page.
