Radio Connessa live

Radio Connessa is a London-based online station built around smooth jazz, lounge, chillout, funk and soul, with a strand of 1980s material alongside. That combination puts it in the easy-listening end of the dial rather than the jazz-purist end: the point is a continuous, low-friction mix for working, driving or winding down, not a programmed survey of a genre. It streams at 320 kbps, which is high for an independent station and matters for this kind of music, where compression artefacts in quiet passages are audible. The schedule is organised into four strands — Chillout & Lounge, Smooth Jazz, Funk & Soul, and Back to the 80s — rather than around presenters. It is online only, with no FM or DAB frequency, so it reaches listeners anywhere rather than only across London. Press play on the player above to listen live, free and without signing up.
