Frequently asked questions about Twr UK live
No — Twr UK broadcasts over the internet only, so there is no frequency to find on a set. That is a deliberate trade: an online station skips the cost of a broadcast licence and reaches the whole country from day one, but it needs a connection at the listener's end. Press play above and it runs in the browser.
Usually a mix of both, with the balance shifting through the day. These stations tend to be used as continuous company rather than tuned in for a single programme.
Because digital radio made it possible. Once DAB and streaming removed the scarcity of frequencies, broadcasters could split a general audience into single decades, and it turned out a great many people wanted exactly one decade rather than a mix.
Not blocked. Listening to British radio from abroad is one of the more common uses of streaming, and Twr UK is available worldwide, free and without an account.
Either a brief drop in your connection or a restart at the station's end. If other stations on this site play normally and only Twr UK does not, the source feed is the likely cause.
