Frequently asked questions about XenFM live
Neither. XenFM is internet-only, which in practice means no coverage map and no interference: it sounds the same in Cornwall, in Glasgow and abroad. The player on this page carries the live feed, free and without an account.
Usually both. Stations in this format tend to move between the classic catalogue and current releases, since the audience follows the music rather than a single period.
Stations in this format usually run mixed sets rather than three-minute singles, because the music is built to be beat-matched and a set needs room to develop. That length is exactly what commercial daytime radio cannot accommodate, and it is why so much dance radio in Britain moved online.
Local, based in England — though the stream carries it well beyond its broadcast footprint.
Through its official website, linked in the details above, or through its social accounts if it keeps them. Both are listed on this page.
