Frequently asked questions about box uk live
No — box uk broadcasts over the internet only, so there is no frequency to find on a set. That is a deliberate trade: an online station skips the cost of a broadcast licence and reaches the whole country from day one, but it needs a connection at the listener's end. Press play above and it runs in the browser.
box uk keeps a mixed schedule rather than committing to a single genre, which is the older model of radio: one station serving a whole audience through the day rather than one slice of it. It broadcasts by stream, so it reaches listeners anywhere.
National. box uk is not tied to one transmitter area, which is what allows a station to build a format around a genre rather than a place.
Yes — the link to its official site is in the station details above. That is the place to find the current schedule and presenter line-up, which change more often than a directory can track.
There is no charge and no account. All you need is a connection; the stream itself is open.
