Frequently asked questions about London Music Radio 128k live
London Music Radio 128k has no place on the dial. It is one of the many British stations that launched as a stream rather than applying to Ofcom for a frequency, which is why specialist formats like this one exist at all — the audience for them is spread too thin for local FM. It plays here with nothing to install.
London Music Radio 128k keeps a mixed schedule rather than committing to a single genre, which is the older model of radio: one station serving a whole audience through the day rather than one slice of it. It broadcasts by stream, so it reaches listeners anywhere.
Yes. The stream is open and there is nothing to configure, so London Music Radio 128k plays the same from anywhere. The only thing to watch is the time difference if you are following a particular programme.
No. London Music Radio 128k plays directly in the browser with nothing to download and no account to create. It works the same on Android, iPhone and desktop.
Not especially — around 30 to 60 MB an hour. On a capped tariff a full working day of London Music Radio 128k would be noticeable, so wi-fi is worth using where you can.
