Frequently asked questions about Soho Radio London live
No — Soho Radio London broadcasts over the internet only, so there is no frequency to find on a set. That is a deliberate trade: an online station skips the cost of a broadcast licence and reaches the whole country from day one, but it needs a connection at the listener's end. Press play above and it runs in the browser.
Soho Radio London keeps a mixed schedule rather than committing to a single genre, which is the older model of radio: one station serving a whole audience through the day rather than one slice of it. It broadcasts by stream, so it reaches listeners anywhere.
National. Soho Radio London is not tied to one transmitter area, which is what allows a station to build a format around a genre rather than a place.
Either a brief drop in your connection or a restart at the station's end. If other stations on this site play normally and only Soho Radio London does not, the source feed is the likely cause.
Free, with no subscription and no paid tier. British radio is funded either by advertising or, in the BBC's case, by the licence fee — either way, listening costs the listener nothing.
