Frequently asked questions about Worldwide FM live
Yes. The player above needs only a browser, so Worldwide FM works on a phone, a laptop or a tablet with no set required. It is also the more reliable option in buildings with thick walls, where the FM signal tends to drop.
Worldwide FM keeps a mixed schedule rather than committing to a single genre, which is the older model of radio: one station serving a whole audience through the day rather than one slice of it. It is on FM and also streams online.
The National page on this site lists every station in the directory broadcasting there, with its frequency and format, which is the quickest way to compare Worldwide FM against the others nearby.
The station's own site, linked further up this page, carries its schedule. We deliberately do not reproduce timetables here, because they go out of date quickly and a wrong one is worse than none.
Its accounts on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube are linked on this page. Worth following if you want to know about one-off shows, which rarely appear in a published schedule.
