Frequently asked questions about TMM 2 live
No — TMM 2 broadcasts over the internet only, so there is no frequency to find on a set. That is a deliberate trade: an online station skips the cost of a broadcast licence and reaches the whole country from day one, but it needs a connection at the listener's end. Press play above and it runs in the browser.
Britain has an unusual claim on this music — jungle, drum and bass, UK garage and grime all originated here — and stations like TMM 2 exist to give those styles the airtime that playlist radio does not.
The format covers a lot of ground — guitar music from the sixties through to current releases, taking in the indie and alternative waves that British radio has always given room to. TMM 2 moves across that range rather than sticking to one decade.
TMM 2 broadcasts from England. Streaming means you can hear it from anywhere regardless.
Nothing. Radio in the UK is free at the point of listening, and this page simply carries the live feed as broadcast.
