Frequently asked questions about Tmm 2 (Hq) live
No — Tmm 2 (Hq) broadcasts over the internet only, so there is no frequency to find on a set. That is a deliberate trade: an online station skips the cost of a broadcast licence and reaches the whole country from day one, but it needs a connection at the listener's end. Press play above and it runs in the browser.
Britain has an unusual claim on this music — jungle, drum and bass, UK garage and grime all originated here — and stations like Tmm 2 (Hq) exist to give those styles the airtime that playlist radio does not.
Heavily. British rock and indie is one of the country's largest cultural exports, and stations working in this format draw on decades of it alongside international acts. Tmm 2 (Hq) sits in that tradition.
Quite a few. You can browse them all on the England page, or use the genre pages if you are after a particular kind of music rather than a particular area.
Less than most people expect. Streaming Tmm 2 (Hq) runs at roughly 30 to 60 MB an hour depending on the bitrate, well below video.
