Frequently asked questions about ARP Radio live
No — ARP Radio broadcasts over the internet only, so there is no frequency to find on a set. That is a deliberate trade: an online station skips the cost of a broadcast licence and reaches the whole country from day one, but it needs a connection at the listener's end. Press play above and it runs in the browser.
Stations in this format usually run mixed sets rather than three-minute singles, because the music is built to be beat-matched and a set needs room to develop. That length is exactly what commercial daytime radio cannot accommodate, and it is why so much dance radio in Britain moved online.
It works from any country. Some British broadcasters do replace certain music or sport on their international feeds because rights are sold by territory, but the station itself is not geo-blocked.
Not especially — around 30 to 60 MB an hour. On a capped tariff a full working day of ARP Radio would be noticeable, so wi-fi is worth using where you can.
Either a brief drop in your connection or a restart at the station's end. If other stations on this site play normally and only ARP Radio does not, the source feed is the likely cause.
