About Heart Dance live

Technical details, frequency and station information

Heart Dance is Global's national dance station for club classics and old-school dance hits, from the late 1980s onwards, together with modern remixes and reworkings of songs people already know. It is aimed at listeners who love the records rather than the scene: no specialist mixes, no underground releases, just the tracks that filled dance floors and crossed into the charts. It launched on 21 June 2019 and broadcasts from Global's studios in Leicester Square, London. The weekday breakfast show is presented by Toby Anstis, who also presents Heart's Club Classics on Friday evenings; Pandora Christie takes the Saturday evening edition. On Friday and Saturday nights Heart Dance simulcasts Club Classics from the main Heart network. It has a sister station with a very different audience. Capital Dance plays current dance music for a young, chart-following listener; Heart Dance plays the anthems of the last three decades for the broad adult audience of the main Heart station. Heart Dance is on DAB across the UK, on the national Digital One multiplex, on Sky channel 0128 and on Global Player. The stream on this page carries the live output.
