About Dance Revolution live
Technical details, frequency and station information
Dance Revolution goes out to a UK-wide audience and leans on a varied playlist to carry the listener through the day.
Because it also streams online, Dance Revolution does not depend on how close you are to a transmitter. That usually solves the problem for anyone outside the coverage area or picking up a weak signal.
To listen to Dance Revolution live, press play on the player at the top of this page. It is free, needs no sign-up and works on a phone, tablet or computer.

Frequently asked questions about Dance Revolution live
Neither. Dance Revolution is internet-only, which in practice means no coverage map and no interference: it sounds the same in Cornwall, in Glasgow and abroad. The player on this page carries the live feed, free and without an account.
Stations in this format usually run mixed sets rather than three-minute singles, because the music is built to be beat-matched and a set needs room to develop. That length is exactly what commercial daytime radio cannot accommodate, and it is why so much dance radio in Britain moved online.
National. Dance Revolution is not tied to one transmitter area, which is what allows a station to build a format around a genre rather than a place.
An hour of Dance Revolution costs roughly 30 to 60 MB. For comparison, standard-definition video can use that in a few minutes.
Reload the page first, which resolves it most of the time. If it still will not start, the station may be restarting its own server — that clears on its own within a few minutes and is nothing to do with this site.
