About Dance Wave! live
Technical details, frequency and station information
Anyone after dance will find a familiar name in Dance Wave!, which broadcasts to a UK-wide audience.
Because it also streams online, Dance Wave! does not depend on how close you are to a transmitter. That usually solves the problem for anyone outside the coverage area or picking up a weak signal.

Frequently asked questions about Dance Wave! live
Dance Wave! has no place on the dial. It is one of the many British stations that launched as a stream rather than applying to Ofcom for a frequency, which is why specialist formats like this one exist at all — the audience for them is spread too thin for local FM. It plays here with nothing to install.
Stations in this format usually run mixed sets rather than three-minute singles, because the music is built to be beat-matched and a set needs room to develop. That length is exactly what commercial daytime radio cannot accommodate, and it is why so much dance radio in Britain moved online.
National. Dance Wave! is not tied to one transmitter area, which is what allows a station to build a format around a genre rather than a place.
Yes — the link to its official site is in the station details above. That is the place to find the current schedule and presenter line-up, which change more often than a directory can track.
Dance Wave! is on Facebook, and the links to its official accounts are in the details above. Stations tend to announce schedule changes and guests there before anywhere else.
