Frequently asked questions about DnBRadio.com live
No — DnBRadio.com broadcasts over the internet only, so there is no frequency to find on a set. That is a deliberate trade: an online station skips the cost of a broadcast licence and reaches the whole country from day one, but it needs a connection at the listener's end. Press play above and it runs in the browser.
Stations in this format usually run mixed sets rather than three-minute singles, because the music is built to be beat-matched and a set needs room to develop. That length is exactly what commercial daytime radio cannot accommodate, and it is why so much dance radio in Britain moved online.
Quite a few. You can browse them all on the National page, or use the genre pages if you are after a particular kind of music rather than a particular area.
Not especially — around 30 to 60 MB an hour. On a capped tariff a full working day of DnBRadio.com would be noticeable, so wi-fi is worth using where you can.
Usually the connection rather than the station: streaming needs a steady flow and any dip interrupts it. Reloading the page fixes most cases; switching network or closing other tabs handles the rest.
