Frequently asked questions about KISS UK live
KISS UK has no place on the dial. It is one of the many British stations that launched as a stream rather than applying to Ofcom for a frequency, which is why specialist formats like this one exist at all — the audience for them is spread too thin for local FM. It plays here with nothing to install.
KISS UK works in pop. As an internet station it runs continuously, without the local opt-outs or news bulletins that punctuate broadcast radio.
Quite a few. You can browse them all on the National page, or use the genre pages if you are after a particular kind of music rather than a particular area.
Not especially — around 30 to 60 MB an hour. On a capped tariff a full working day of KISS UK would be noticeable, so wi-fi is worth using where you can.
Usually the connection rather than the station: streaming needs a steady flow and any dip interrupts it. Reloading the page fixes most cases; switching network or closing other tabs handles the rest.
